Amanda Cumming and Kate Reynolds met in Melbourne at an art foundation course, and both went on to complete the Bachelor of Design (Fashion Design) at RMIT University, with first class honours in 2006.

They have since worked in the fashion industry in various capacities. First as assistants at PAM (aka Perks and Mini), and as stylists and costume designers on film clips for Cut Copy and Midnight Juggernauts. More recently they have styled alongside Yasmin Sewel for Westfield's SS11/12 campaign ‘The Collaboration’, and coordinated the wardrobe for a short fashion film directed by Luci Schroder for Nick Knight's renowned fashion website SHOWStudio.

The duo also spent a two-year stint living and working in London, honing their technical and creative skills within the UK fashion industry for several labels. Amanda worked as a design assistant and studio manager at menswear designer Tim Soar before working in production and sales at womenswear designer Christopher Kane. Kate interned at menswear designer Cassette Playa before becoming the design assistant and studio manager at menswear designer Christopher Shannon.

Now both back in Melbourne, the duo continue to work collaboratively on styling, costume design, and their menswear and womenswear label, PAGEANT.
